- White button down blouse with a black belt. I bought this at Marshalls a couple years ago and only recently started wearing it. When I was heavier, I had this bad habit of buying clothes without trying them on first, as was the case with this shirt. I just didn't want to face reality in a badly lit dressing room, I guess. This blouse was waaayyyyy too small on me when I bought it - I couldn't even get my arms into the sleeves. But it fits me now!
- Glen plaid pants. These were another purchase that were way too small and just sat in my closet for the past two years. So this morning I spotted them and thought, "what the heck, let's try them". AND THEY WERE TOO BIG! I still wore them anyway. I figure I should wear them once before giving them back to the universe, just so I don't feel so guilty. Contrary to how it might look, I usually return clothes that I can't wear, but I will admit to having a few things in my closet that I haven't worn yet. Does anyone else buy clothes without trying them on first? Or buy things and don't wear them?
- A very pretty chocolate pearl necklace with monogrammed charm. My friend just started selling jewelry from Jewel Kade and I offered to "model" a piece of it while I was at a work event today that I coordinated. Oh the sacrifices I make for my friends!
- Sorry, no shoes in this pic. What can I say, my husband took the picture. Does he not know that shoes are an integral part to an outfit? :) I wore light gray Bandolino peep toe flats that have a little silver metallic piping around them.
